Suede Studio was founded in 2004 by Ashkan Bashiri with collaboration with Maggie Sobhani, whom combined have been serving the Sacramento community for over twenty five years. As a career salon professional, Ashkan wanted to create a creative space that inspired the stylists and provided a relaxing environment for the guests. The Salon provides a state of the art space with quality service delivery at its core. Each guest is greeted and consulted with professionalism and knowledge to provide a clear choice for their beauty challenges and needs.
The Spa at Suede is focused on treatment results. We have brought together the latest technology in skin analysis and imaging, Visia, to provide each guest with a clear path through skin rejuvenation. Rhea Hao
Salon manager/Stylist
Rhea has been with the company for ten years and specializes in thermal reconditioning. She started out as an apprentice and has built strong relations with her staff mentoring as well as managing. Though she is one of the salon managers, she still loves being behind the chair and is one of Suede’s senior stylists.
Rhea is a graduate from Sacramento State University in 2006, with a BA in marketing, but she will never deny her fond love of the beauty industry.
David Fisher
Salon manager/Stylist
Suede Salon and Spa and has been with the company for 3 years. David is originally from New York, then came to California in 2006. David graduated from LSO career training in New York. There, he worked as an art director, a full time stylist, and an educator for Kenra. He accomplished a certification in restorative hair care. With a metaphysical approach to this industry, he helps to create a positive and motivational environment. Holding honors in this industry. Specializes in, hair cutting, dimensional coloring, and scalp treatments.
Shay Humphries
Stylist
Shay began her career with a firm foundation in the fundamentals of Toni & Guy and Vidal Sassoon while attending Elite Academy in 2007.

Kristyn Noah
Stylist
Kristyn has been in the industry for the past 2 years. She graduated from the Elite Academy, and has since added courses of training from Vidal Sassoon, Wella color, and Bumble and Bumble styling and product knowledge. Her experience ranges from behind the chair cutting and styling, freelance projects including runway for Ed Hardy, Pictorial and Photo work for Miosa Bridal couture, Collaborating with Mili Simon on Photo work for a national Viagra campaign, and local designers and artists.

Michelle Lewis
Massage Therapist/Stylist
Michelle Lewis is a practicing state licensed cosmetologist specializing in color, men haircuts, and women hair designing as well as extensions and permanent waves. Graduating from the college of Federico's in 1986 in good standing with a very flattering letter of recommendation.
Michelle Lewis is an accomplished well sought after massage therapist with a twelve year well earned reputation to be a step above the rest. In applied quality and knowledge specializing in advanced bodywork techniques and education in deep tissue, sports, lymphatic, infant & pregnancy massage. With that include chair and chiropractic massage, as well as treatment strategies for chronic disease and specified injury conditions. Floor shiatsu, myofascial release and all advanced body mechanics and nutrition in addition to applied basic physical therapy is also carried over to her one on one personal training and group fitness class. Specializing in sports mass and all accident, occupation, and pre & post surgeries. Graduating from the institute of therapeutic massage in February 1999, with a college back ground in sports medicine, kinesiology, nutrition, physical trainer and all the sciences.
Ilario Gutierrez
Stylist
Ilario Gutierrez has been hair dressing since 1997. He started his training with his mentor Catherine Caldwell. In 2005 he joined the Redken team as a regional performing artist for five years as colorist and a principal based hair designer, who worked shows and facilitated in salon classes as well as hands on in workshops. He has had many influences with color, working for Ruth Roche, Sam Brocato and Lindy virgin w/ the Sam Brocato team. Ilario has taken numerous amounts of classes with Vidal Sassoon, Sebastian and Loreal Professional. Today, Ilario is an influential team member of Suede Salon.
Alicia Shaeffer-Jackson
Stylist
For the last five years, Alicia has been a part of the cosmetology industry. She was trained with the Toni & Guy style of cutting. She has now been with Suede for the last year.
