Suede Studio was founded in 2004 by Ashkan Bashiri with collaboration with Maggie Sobhani, whom combined have been serving the Sacramento community for over twenty five years. As a career salon professional, Ashkan wanted to create a creative space that inspired the stylists and provided a relaxing environment for the guests. The Salon provides a state of the art space with quality service delivery at its core. Each guest is greeted and consulted with professionalism and knowledge to provide a clear choice for their beauty challenges and needs.
The Spa at Suede is focused on treatment results. We have brought together the latest technology in skin analysis and imaging, Visia, to provide each guest with a clear path through skin rejuvenation. Ashkan Bashiri
Stylist
Ashkan has been in the salon industry since 1989. After 15 years working at Topoli Grand Salon and Spa, he ventured out and opened Suede Salon and Spa. Ashkan carries a BS in physiology from University of California Santa Barbara and has completed numerous creative cut and color courses from Vidal Sassoon and Paul Mitchell. He has stayed currnet through business and technical classes in the U.S.A, and Europe Through Wella, and Sebastian. He has worked, and collaborated with Robert Cromean, Robert Lobetta, and The Christopher and Sonya Dove behind the stage and Photo Shoots. Ashkan is also a firm believer in giving back to his community by raising money for numerous local charities including; Weave, Shiners' Hospital, Children's Receiving Home, Cure, breast cancer research, and many local school's fundraisers.
David Fisher
Salon manager/Stylist
David Fisher has been with the company for over 4 years. He is originally from New York having relocated to California in 2006. David graduated top of his class from LSO cosmetology career training. There he worked as a full time stylist, art director and educator for Kenra. He then became certified in restorative hair care. He makes this industry his own by bringing professional, artistic and positive experience behind the chair. He is a supporter of local and global unity. David specializes in dimensional coloring with artistic color patterns and creative cutting.
Shay Humphries
Stylist
Shay began her career with a firm foundation in the fundamentals of Toni & Guy and Vidal Sassoon while attending Elite Academy in 2007.

For the last five years, Alicia has been a part of the cosmetology industry. She was trained with the Toni & Guy style of cutting. She has now been with Suede for the last year.

My name is Juliet Long and after 16 years in the beauty industry I have found that I am most passionate about helping others reach their full potential. Makeovers for real people are my specialty. I find great satisfaction in utilizing my listening skills and creative abilities to find the best hair cut and color for my clients. I have an extensive background with Aveda education and have had the pleasure of learning from some of the best hair dressers in the world. By mentoring, training and being a director of education for the past 10 years I have learned much about people and what works best for beauty. Rhonda Kennedy has been a stylist for 18 years. She specializes in hair color and hair extensions. She has received many certifications in color and cutting throughout her career and has traveled all over the world for her education. Some of these places include New York, Chicago, New Orleans, Washington D.C,and Paris. Net work Educator for Wella, Redken, and Bumble& Bumble. Education from Beth Minardi, Gina Khan, the Doves ,Sebastian, Robert Cromeans and Franck Rausch academy in Paris. Most importantly I fufill my client’s needs by constantly refreshing their personal style to their individual personality.
